Karen Law

London, UK

Karen, born and raised in Hong Kong, moved to the UK for university at 18. There, she discovered her love for cooking, driven by homesickness and a desire to recreate the familiar foods of her childhood. Despite changes in Hong Kong, one constant remains: the food.

Karen started her page and blog to help fellow Hong Kongers living abroad recreate a taste of home, as well as to share her love for Asian cuisine with anyone interested in easy, accessible recipes.

"Dai ga sik faan" (大家食飯) means "everyone, let's eat!" in Cantonese. In Hong Kong culture, it’s common to say "sik faan!" before sharing a meal with family and friends.
